The Senior SCDCA started in 1946/47 and runs between Lake Illawarra and Gerringong with 9 affiliated clubs.

SCDCA offer 4 Grade competitions, a 1st Grade T20 competition and a Friday night Ladies T20 competition.

Our 1st Grade competition, since 2022/23 has included teams from neighbouring association Shoalhaven DCA which has created a vastly competitive competition between 11 clubs.

Players of note to have started their playing careers in SCDCA include Brett Lee (Australia) and Shane Lee (Australia), Adam Zampa (Australia ODI and T20), Nathan McAndrew (Australia A, South Australia and Sydney Thunder), Tahlia Wilson (NSW & Sydney Thunder), Blake Nikitaras (NSW & Sydney Thunder) and Will Sherridan (Victoria & Melbourne Renegades).
